The Bunk House


The Bunk House  is a 104 bed hostel/bar which is a new idea that has been launched in the heart of Cardiff City centre. The 5 storey building was completely  renovated and Electro-main installed a complete new electrical and mechanical system

Cyncoed House




Cyncoed House was a project where we worked very closely with a leading South Wales interior designer and our job was to install a complete new electrical system and specialist lighting throughout the property.

Lansdowne House

We carried out a full renovation of this public house for some local restaurateurs. A complete rewire, fire alarm, intruder alarm and plumbing system were installed on a tight timescale alongside many other trades to allow the premises to open a quickly as possible. The property was totally gutted inside and renovated to a standard in keeping with the local area and history.

Caerphilly Housing Association works was a multi phase contract consisting of 498 properties where we worked to a schedule set by the principal contractor of up to 16 properties a week, mainly occupied, to upgrade kitchen and bathroom facilities. We worked closely with the tenants and the local tenant liaison officers to carry out the works as unobtrusively as possible.

Kings Hotel

The Kings Hotel is a historic venue situated in the centre of Newport with over 60 rooms individually designed. The scope of works include the design, installation and commissioning of the following services:

We are currently working on a five year program of works to upgrade council houses, mainly occupied, to current standards. The contract consists of rewiring 8 properties a week to include new kitchens and bathrooms.  We work to a schedule given to us by the principal contractor and also  have to carry out upgrades to vacant properties as per the local authorities schedule to make it possible for new tenants to move into refurbished properties. Again a close working relationship with the tenants and principal contractor is paramount.

We have worked closely with Cardiff County Council for many years carrying out over 800 disability facility grants and safety at home adaptations. We are required to work with some vulnerable and frail people in their homes to make their lives easier. By adapting or renewing the bathrooms, or constructing access ramps, we hopefully provide benefits to their day to day living.  All grant works are to a tight budget and timescale. Working closely with the tenants and the Council we hopefully give back some dignity to people who otherwise relied on family or carers to remain in their family homes.
