In February 2022, EMS Ltd was called in to replace street lighting close to the Cardiff Dock by the Welsh Government. Before work commenced on the street lighting, the team carried out a site survey on all 11 street lights and highlighted to the Welsh government a number of issues with them- with many of the lights not properly functioning, not giving adequate light or being damaged. And in March 2021, Caerphilly Castle was lit up yellow for National day of Reflection - remembering those who lost their lives to COVID-19 since the start of lockdown in March 2020.
