The Bunk House
The Bunk House is an 104 bed hostel/bar which is a new idea that has been launched in the heart of the Cardiff centre. The 5 storey building was totally gutted and Electro-main installed a complete new Electrical System throughout the building which included the following works:

- Full Addressable Fire Alarm
- External Lighting
- Complete Emergency Lighting
- Complete Extract System
- 36 Camera System
- Electric Swipe door system
- Complete Intruder Alarm
Cyncoed House
Cyncoed House was a project where we worked very closely with a leading South Wales interior designer and our job was to install a complete new electrical system and specialist lighting throughout the property.
The Scope of the works we carried out are below:
- New electrical wiring
- Complete Intruder alarm
- Under floor Heating
- Door Entry System
- Mood lighting throughout
Kings Hotel
The Kings Hotel is a historic venue situated in the centre of Newport with over 60 rooms individually designed. The scope of works include the design, installation and commissioning of the following services:
- Full addressable fire alarm system
- General lighting
- External lighting
- New installations
- General electric works i.e. sockets and switches
- Planned maintenance
- Periodic, inspection and testing
- PAT testing
- Servicing and testing of fire alarm
- Emergency lighting – install, test and inspection
- 24 hour call out service – 365 days of year
Mercure Holland House
Mercure’s Holland House is a luxurious 4 star Hotel situated in a prime location of Cardiff. Electro-Main were responsible for the redevelopment of the pool area, reception and hallways & maintaining all electrical fixtures and fittings throughout the contemporary hotel.
The scope of work included:
- Design and installation of decorative lighting
- Emergency lighting
- Periodic testing
- Remedial works
- PAT testing
- Gerneral lighting
- External lighting
- 24 hour call out service- – 365 days a year
